In order to study according to the study program of arts, art pedagogy or theology, it is obligatory to pass the entrance exam. Some programs may also require proficiency tests. This condition is indicated when the entrant chooses the appropriate study program. It is necessary to get acquainted with the schedule of entrance examinations / tests provided in the information system, as the study programs requiring this must be entered in the application no later than 24 hours. until the entrance exam or test. Some arts study programs offer pre-entrance examinations during the spring entrance examination session. Only entrants who have passed the entrance examinations during the general admission may participate in the competition for state-funded, non-state-funded study scholarships or non-state-funded study places.

Pass the Lithuanian language test if selected studies are conducted in Lithuanian and if the person has no proven record of language knowledge issued by competent authority. The test of Lithuanian language is to evaluate the applicant’s ability to study in Lithuanian language. Listening, reading, writing and speaking skills and the ability to use the language are assessed during the test.
