Holders of foreign qualifications can be accepted to the state-funded study places in Lithuanian vocational education and training institutions by the applicable legislation in cases if they are citizens of or other member countries of the European Union (EU) or European Economic Area (EEA) and their family members. Holders of foreign qualifications willing to study at Lithuanian vocational education and training institutions must:

Persons who acquired lower secondary (basic) school education abroad, sign in to the LAMA BPO system and submit your education documents. Academic recognition will be done by the vocational training institution.

Non-EU and non-EEA nationals granted a right of temporary residence in the Republic of Lithuania to study at vocational education and training institutions with their own funds.

Persons who have graduated secondary education abroad have to contact the vocational training institution regarding academic recognition of foreign qualifications.
